Our guesthouse has four rooms for you to choose from, all with independent access and private bathroom. The rooms have been named after poems, a tribute to Grandma Paola, who taught us the art of hospitality.
Hers was a discreet life, spent in the service of – as she liked to call him – the great writer and poet, Hermann Hesse. Every room is decorated in warm earthy colours, some more vivid than others; all have exposed beams, either original or salvaged.
Grandma Paola´s old chandelier, which had been abandoned in the attic, now radiates in all its beauty in this muted pink bathroom, illuminating a large, comfortable and functional shower.
You will find high quality mattresses and pillows, chosen with great care to lull you into optimal sleep. Crumpled linen sheets and mohair or loom-woven blankets will envelop you in a delightful embrace. The furnishings are minimalist, a bit like us – at times flirtatious, but always tastefully balanced.
